Tyrus “Ty” Raymond Cobb, born in 1886 in Georgia, who died after being perhaps the greatest baseball player ever in 1961, is the subject of the April 1990 issue of Instauration magazine, put online just before this June 29, 2011 Jamie Kelso Show. Cobb was a patriot of his race. When he vaulted into the stands at Yankee Stadium while playing for the Detroit Tigers to knock down a man who had called him a “half-nigger”, he was backed up by every member of his team, both Georga Senators, all ten Georgia Congressmen, as well as the Mayor and Police Commissioner of Atlanta.
