Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor of Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, was a racial patriot, a nativist, and is one of the subjects of the February 17, 2011 Jamie Kelso Show. Just before visiting Mt. Rushmore, Kelso was at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. where some joker with a camera filmed an impromptu conversation about race between Kelso and some young White folks. This video has gone viral, probably intended by its makers to strike some devastating blow to racial patriotism, but the thing has boomeranged on these “anti-racists”, with tens of thousands of folks finding the argument for racial common sense by an exhausted Kelso (at the end of the last day of an exhausting conference) to be enjoyable rather than “shocking”.
