A recent “debate” by leading Republican presidential candidates underscores the lack of principle and seriousness in the US political process, and an entrenched childishness in American society. The policies of Ronald Regan, like those of Barack Obama, do not match the eloquent rhetoric. The alarmist claim by the Obama administration of a fantastic Iranian plot to assassinate a foreign envoy is part of a dubious scare campaign to justify a new war.

Reuben Hayat joins Robert Stark to discuss The Ashkenazi Revolution, a book by Kalman Katzenelson that Hayat recently translated. The Ashkenazi Revolution was written in Israel in the early 1960s. Katzenelson viewed himself as an Ashkenazi nationalist rather than a Zionist. Katzenelson was active in the revolt against the British and was imprisoned for his activities. It is rumored that the book was banned in Israel because it might cause division between Ashkenazis, Mizrahis and Sephardics.

On October 13, 2011 Jamie Kelso quotes the two most recent Paul Craig Roberts columns. Roberts, an extraordinary patriot, ends his column “The Day America Died” with these devastating words: “Readers ask me what they can do. Americans not only feel powerless, they are powerless. … To expect salvation from an election is delusional. All you can do, if you are young enough, is to leave the country. The only future for Americans is a nightmare.” These are shocking words of despair from Roberts, and are very important just for the reason that Roberts has formerly occupied such high positions of power in both the government and the media. Kelso shares Roberts’ dire appraisal of the severity of the emergency, but does not share Roberts’ belief that a it’s too late for a White resistance to save our people right here in America.
Americans have never been so distrustful of their country’s political leaders and major institutions, or more gloomy about the future. This is much more than unhappiness about the economy and unemployment. Across the US and in Europe, there’s a profound crisis of confidence in the democratic-capitalist system. In the years ahead, American and western European society will continue to disintegrate because the factors behind the decline are still in place, and because the prevailing system operates on the basis of ideology of egalitarianism, universalism, “diversity” and multiculturalism, which is ruinous in the long run.
