August 9, 2010
On August 9, 2010 Jamie Kelso reads an analysis of the folly of allowing the Black racist, and serial miscegenator Jack Johnson to contest for the White heavyweight crown in 1908 against Canadian Tommy Burns in Australia, a fight won by Johnson. On July 4, 1910, 100 years ago, Jim Jeffries came out of a six-year retirement saying:: “I am going into this fight for the sole purpose of winning the title for whites.” He lost. White police and citizens in 25 States and 50 cities tried to quell Negro rioting in celebration, with 23 Negroes and 2 Whites dying. But now, in large part thanks to the Scotsman Helio Gracie, and his Gracie mixed martial art techniques, Whites once again dominate heavyweight fighting.
