Jamie Kelso’s theme today is the Mexican invasion and takeover of our American national parks and wilderness lands. White America has already been dispossessed by Mexican gangs with guns and explosives guarding tens of thousands of super-sized pot farms. After all the depressing news of our dispossession from our own wilderness, Jamie looks for something encouraging in the life of Sierra Club pioneer, president, and director David Brower (1912-2000). David Brower, who had climbed 63 Sierra peaks in one ten-week hike in 1933 (32 of these being first ascents), resigned from the Sierra Club in 2000 in protest against the Sierra Club Board’s refusal to face the fact that third-world immigration was the greatest of all threats to our American lands and Nature.
