Justin: obviously, I don’t know you personally. But I do think your public statements need a bit more adult handling; for it’s no wonder we have a difficult time bringing in more European-Americans onto our side.

Ed, the origin of the word ‘frank’ would disprove your assertion:
c.1300, from O.Fr. franc “free, sincere, genuine,” from M.L. Franc “a freeman, a Frank,” one of the Germanic people that conquered Celtic Gaul from the Romans c.500 C.E. and called it France, from Frankish *Frank (cf. O.H.G. Franko, O.E. Franca). The connection is that only Franks, as the conquering class, had the status of freemen. Sense of “outspoken” first recorded in English 1540s.

Certain words are periodically arrested by the ruthless pop culture of the moment. Hence, the historical word ‘bitch’ is currently and culturally owned by hip-hop since the late 80′s or early 90′s.
Is such a word no longer of European possession? For now, it is not given its contemporary association in a seemingly downward European America. Perhaps, the word will once again become re-Europeanised in a future American period.

What utter nonsense. Heaven forbid one offend his delicate ears! Heaven forbid that we not castrate our tongues to conform with his prudishness! Instead of letting the target audience dictate the presentation, as the grass bends to the winds, rather the presentation must be rigid and stuffy.
I am quite fond of the Chinese predisposition toward cursing; Lu Xun once called ‘cao ni ma’ (f*** your mother) the ‘national swear’ of China.
Oh, and ‘bitch’ is of European possession, whatever the cao-ni-ma that means. I posses it on a daily basis, usually on the phone.

I think you have it backwards. It’s actually the presentation that dictates the target audience. Using language like “bitch” will simply mark one as a prole, and limit one’s appeal to a prole audience. There is nothing wrong with proles, to be clear, but VoR is committed to reaching a GENERAL audience, not just a prole one.
